So you want to show your pride in your Barony with a personalized email address that let's everyone know where you're from? Well, this is the page that will tell you how to do that.

If you just want a "forgottensea.org" email address that forwards to your personal email, send me an email with the email ID that you would like, and I will let you know if it is available. It will be set up to forward to your current email, nothing more to do.

If you need a full service email address, then follow the steps below:

First you have to decided on an ID and a password. Usually for IDs, people choose their SCA names, like "Rory" or "Logan." Other times, they choose their title, like "Baron" or "Baroness." Or they just might make something up, like "Foolhearty." Whatever you choose for your ID is fine, as long as it isn't offensive. Your ID will become your email address.

You also need to pick a password. Something that you will remember really, really well. If you forget your password, I can't tell you what it is.

Email me with your desired email ID. I will enter it into the system with a default password of "password." When you log in for the first time, you should obviously change the password.

If you chose to forward this account to another account, once I email you back that the account is set up, that is all you will ever need to do. Every piece of email addressed to that account will be forwarded to the account you specified.

If you did not choose to forward your mail, and need a full service email box, then there is more you need to do.

Access your email via the World Wide Web the first time you use it by simply pointing your browser to: https://supremecenter35.com:8888/webmail/. When you get there, choose "RoundCube" from the three available. (This is purely a personal preference choice, however, it is the easiest to change your password with.) Your User Name is the full email address: i.e.= bob@forgottensea.org . The password will be "password". Once you log in the first time, please change your password to one of your choice. PLEASE NOTE: I do not keep these, I can not read them, and if you forget it, I can not tell you what it is, I can only change it to "password" and let you log in and change it again.

Everything that you need to access your email from anywhere in the world will be available to you from that web address.

If you wish to use an email program, like Eudora, or Thunderbird, or Outlook Express, etc. then you'll need some more information:

The account name is your full email address: bob@forgottensea.org
The Incoming Mail POP3 server address is: mail.webhost-realty.com
The Outgoing Mail SMTP server address will be whatever your individual ISP has specified. If you need to use this one, like for a mobile device, it is: mail.webhost-realty.com
The User Name is again your email address: bob@forgottensea.org
Of course your ID and Password will be required.

See, painless. That is all there is to setting up your new email account.

Now, tell all your friends your new email address and tell them that they should get one too!
